Nami Foundation accompanies the Kawai Startup Fair 2023 - Foreign Trade University Hanoi
Nami Foundation, a pioneer organization in the field of digital assets and technology finance in Vietnam, is a comprehensive partner for the Kawai Startup Fair 2023 organized by the Foreign Trade University in Hanoi.
In June 2023, Nami Foundation proudly accompanied and sponsored the "Start a Business with Kawai" contest. This contest, organized by the Future Entrepreneurs Club of the Foreign Trade University Delegation, is open to Vietnamese youth aged 18 to 30 nationwide. The contest, which has been held annually since 2006, receives sponsorship from the Japanese embassy in Vietnam and has the support of over 1,000 businesses. It attracts the participation of 21,000 young individuals who submit nearly 2,000 projects. Notable projects include Channel 14, Ybox.vn, Fresh Deli, RIO Creative, Color Me, and more.
This year, "Kawai Startup Fair" returns with the story of young individuals on a journey to find the answer: What is the ultimate limit of human potential?
The competition serves as a cradle to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit and passion among young people, providing inspiration and a business mindset to thousands of students. It serves as an ideal launchpad for many startups to embark on a glorious entrepreneurial path. The total prize value of the competition amounts to over 1.4 billion VND.
Nami Foundation serves as a Comprehensive Partner for the contest. Mr. Giap Van Dai, the representative of Nami Foundation, acts as an advisor for the program and is part of the jury team during the final night of the competition. Seven years ago, Mr. Dai participated in the Kawai Startup Fair 2023 as a contestant. Now, in a different role, he supports the contestants by sharing knowledge and encouraging their entrepreneurial spirit.
According to Mr. Giap Van Dai's sharing, "By Embracing Gen Z, Nami Foundation aspires to nurture and create future generations capable of reaching international standards. This will affirm Vietnam's capacity for technological autonomy and the ability to innovate unique business models, which are no less competitive than other countries, especially in the field of Blockchain and financial technology as a whole."
On the evening of July 8, the Future Entrepreneurs Club - Foreign Trade University - TEC FTU successfully organized the Final Night of the “Kawai Startup Fair 2023”. The event showcases the competition among the top five teams, namely LEAN Social, Coffuel, CentiVoice, NaviAI, and Nerd Academy.
At the end of the competition, the Coffuel team, with their innovative coffee grounds biomass pellet product, impresses the jury and investors with their courage and presentation skills, securing the top position in the "Kawai Startup Fair 2023" contest in 2023. The team receives rewards totaling more than 1.4 billion VND.
"Kawai Startup Fair 2023" is an opportunity for young startups to enhance their knowledge and perfect their projects before officially entering the market. In addition to a series of in-depth training sessions with experienced mentors in the business field, participating teams also have the chance to meet guest speakers and gain knowledge in areas such as Marketing, Blockchain, and HR. Nami Foundation believes that this competition will contribute positively to promoting entrepreneurial and creative activities among students nationwide.
